HB 106-FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS CHAIRMAN TAYLOR announced that there were two amendments in the committee packets. He asked for a motion on the first, which delays the effective date of the credit card implementation to July 1, 2002. SENATOR COWDERY moved amendment 1 and it passed with no objection. CHAIRMAN TAYLOR called for Mr. Elder to examine amendment 2. MR. Terry ELDER examined amendment 2 and stated the division had no problem accepting the amendment. CHAIRMAN TAYLOR called for additional discussion or objection to amendment 2. There being none, amendment 2 passed. He asked for the pleasure of the committee. SENATOR COWDERY moved HB 106 from committee with individual recommendations. There being no objection, SCS CSHB 106 (JUD) moved from committee with individual recommendations.
